WEATHER DISPLAY
New: Weather-Display-users of Version 10.29i (and higher) go to "Control Panel"--->"WEDAAL Network" and turn the button ON and choose your upload-time. Users of Version 10.29i please proceed with number 9. Users of older versions please download the latest Weather-Display-software or start here with number 1.
- Weather Display user please download "customtext2" in "Template" in our Database here. Guests of this forum can get the template by contacting one of our team-members either via email or via PN.
- Unpack the file in the "webfiles"-folder of your Weather-Display software location. (e.g. c:\program files\weatherdisplay\webfiles)
- If you are alredy participating at the awekas.at project then go on with step 5, please.
- If you use Version 10.20 and higher: Click to "Setup"-->"record logfile" --> "Produce a custom text file" --> activate "YES" and set your update-time in "Update frequenzy".
If you use Version 10.28 and higer: Click to Setup ---> produce protocol-file ---> Proceed with "Yes" and choose your personal file (e.g. cutomtext2.txt) at "customtext[].txt" and confirm with "Yes" ---> and choose actualisation intervall - Choose "Setup" --> "Control Panel" --> "FTP/Internet/metar/email/..." (Weather-Display, Version 10.20 and higher).
Choose "Control Panel" --> "FTP/Internet/metar/email/..." (Weather-Display, Version 10.28 and higher). - Choose "General FTP Functions".
- Click on "Choose the file" and locate "customtextout2.txt" in your webfiles-folder and name "customtextout2.txt" as "Remote Dateiname" and if necessary name at "remote Verzeichnis verwenden" the subfolder of your data on your webspace/server.
Choose your upload interval and press the "ON"-Button.

- If your upload works fine, update the URL (should look like this: "http://www.xxxxxxxxxx.com/customtextout2.txt" or "http://www.xxxxxxxxxx.com/wedaal.txt" ) of your "customtextout2.txt" or "wedaal.txt" and your location (country, city, latitude and longitude) in your user-profile here at "Wedaal-entry" Please epfenbachwetter@wetter-board.de, if your data is available, otherwise I can't unlock you at the WEDAAL-map.
- Anybody who's takeing part at WEDAAL can use the following HTML-Code for the WEDAAL-logo for his homepage:

WSWIN
Anybody who uses Version 2.90.3 (and higher) can directliy click to "Control ---> Parameters Template/APRS/Synop/..." and activate "wedaal.txt" (down on the right).
User of Version 2.90.3 can start with No. 5 and go on with the installation.

- Unpack the files in your WsWin-folder (in the same folder you must locate your wswin32.exe).
- Open "wap.txt" in your WsWin-folder. Add at the end of the textfile (make a new line):
%openfile=custom2.txt%
Save "wap.txt" on exit.
Attention: Be careful that there is no other line in the wap.txt which begins with "%openfile=........%". WsWin opens only one other file! - If you restart WsWin, the programme generates now your new "wedaal.txt" in the "HTML"-folder. That's it.
- Upload this new txt-file on your server. Your URL of should look like this... "http://www.xxxxxxxx.com/wedaal.txt".
Update your location (country, city, latitude and longitude) in your user-profile here at "Wedaal-entry" Please epfenbachwetter@wetter-board.de, if your data is available, otherwise I can't unlock you in the WEDAAL-map. - Anybody who's takeing part at WEDAAL can use the following HTML-Code for the WEDAAL-logo for his homepage:

VIRTUAL WEATHER STATION
- VWS user please download "auslese-wedaal-HTM" and "auslese-wedaal-HTX" in "Template" in our Database here. Guests of this forum can get the template by contacting one of our team-members either via email or via PN.
- Unpack these files into a folder. (e.g. c:\wedaal)
- Click at the VWS-programme on: "Internet" -->
"HTML-Settings" and choose on the left side via "Browse" "auslese-wedaal-HTX" and on the right side via "Browse" "auslese-wedaal-HTM". Test your settings by clicking on "Update". On the "Preview"-field you should see something like this:

- DWL user please download "wedaal-wl-htx" in "Template" in our Database here. Guests of this forum can get the template by contacting one of our team-members either via email or via PN.
- Unpack the file in "Weatherlink/Station1/templates".
- Goto "Internet/Settings" and choose at Profil1,2 or 3 "Configure" Choose a profile on which the data can be uploaded every 15 minutes.
- Goto "Select Templates Files" and add "wedaal-wl.htx".
- DWL will now produce a "wedaal-wl.htm".
- Upload this file onto your webspace/server.
- If your upload works fine, update the URL (should look like this: "http://www.xxxxxxxxx.com/wedaal-wl.htm") of your "wedaal-wl.htm" and your location (country, city, latitude and longitude) in your user-profile here at "Wedaal-entry". FreeWX
- Unpack the file wedaaltexttemplate.txt from the Database into the FreeWX-folder (e.g. c:\FreeWX or c:\FreeWX-Wi)
- Open FreeWX and go to "Internet" ---> "Settings". Click "Choose Template" and choose wedaaltexttemplate.txt by clicking on "Browse".
- FreeWX will generate the wedaaltext.txt automatically.
- If your upload works fine, update the URL (should look like this: "http://www.xxxxxxxxx.com/wedaaltext.txt") of your "wedaaltext.txt" and your location (country, city, latitude and longitude) in your user-profile here at "Wedaal-entry". Please epfenbachwetter@wetter-board.de, if your data is available, otherwise I can't unlock you at the WEDAAL-map.
