Das gps neu angelöted und das kleine led Blinkt.
-
ok, well done.
Now wait until little GPS LED flashes. Maybe it must be outside for short time but afterwards it can be inside the window. -
gps is stopping slowely flashing and is burning low.
I see that de green led is not burning, but flashes a few times per minute.
-
Is blue LED flashing each second? If not then GPS signal is poor
Do you use 4800 baud or 19200 baud? -
blue led is not flashing and baudrate is set to 19200
If Iplaced the unit outside on power then is the green led burning and gps led burns.
Blue led is not flashing. -
Hallo Ronald,
hast du den GPS Anschluß auf dem Board richtig gezählt
von oben gesehen:
rechts unten =1 + 5V
links unten =2 seriell Ausgang
Mitte rechts =3 seriell Eingang
Mitte links =4 IPPS Eingang
oben rechts =5 Minus
oben links = 6 -
Hallo Bernhard,
Ja das habe ich falsch gemacht, nur habe ich das richtig angelöted.

I have set gps to 19200 on elevation board green jumper set,
And in windows comport settings also to 19200 8 1 N N -
Hallo Ronald,
leuchten die LED jetzt richtig?
grün leuchtet
blau blinkt
gelb blinkt bei Blitzdann musst du noch das Tracker Programm auf die Baud Rate einstellen.
-
Dear Ronald,
forget your windows settings, they will be ignored by any program which uses your serial Port.
Does the blue LED flashes every second.
Did you init your Hardware with 19200 Baud?
Does the tracker counts down at start?
Whats happened if you set everything to 4800 Baud?Edmund
-
Hello Edmund,
Blue led had never burnd.
I have init the hardware (green jumper set) to 19200 and all jumpers set to gps EM-406A on the board so as writen in the manual.
Tracker don't regornise the gps
If I set all to 4800 it will be still the same.If I set the board on power red led goes on and green for one moment
gps led bliks every second.
Reset the board several times, then I have flickering yellow and green led's and a weak led light on the gps.Maybe I have soldering some components wrong?
I want to send the assembled boards return and hope that Egon will be so nice that he can take a look.I will thank all of you, for you great help and patience.

Dear Ronald,
can you take a picture of your hardware and place this into the board, Egon will take a look at it.

Is this correct?

Edmund -
Hello Edmund,
I have removed the green jumper and set power on board.
Yellow and green led are flickering continous, gps led blicking every second. -
Hi,
the connection is wrong!
You have to exchange pin 2 and 3 (orange and blank) at the connector (seriel in, serial out).
Note!!!!
If you power on the board, the red LED goes on, and the green, yellow, and blue start blinking.
After that, only the red LED will glow.
If the GPS receives the 1PPS, the blue LED will start blinking every second.
If then the communication will work, (the correct baud rate ect.) then the green LED will additionally glow.
If the blue LED is blinking and the green LED is not glowing, then change the baud rate at the board by changing the green jumper (set it, or remove it) and power the board off and on.
Initially, the baud rate is 4800 baud. That is, initially you have to remove the green jumer. If the green LED glows, you should connect with the tracker program with 4800 baud. Now, you can initialize the GPS with the tracker programm to 19200 baud. After that, you have to power off the board, set the green jumper, power the board on, and connect again with the tracker program, but now with 19200 baud.
Thats all.
Regards,
Egon -
