    So, wie gewünscht hier was zum spielen. :D

    • Download Version 0.1

    Für eine gescheite Doku hatte ich bisher noch keine Zeit, insbesondere was die settings.php angeht. So lange findet Ihr hier eine grobe Anleitung:

    • Installation
    • Allgemeines

    Hi Tobias,
    I downloaded your software, and following the install instrictions on your site, I modified the config.php. After some stepps I get this error:
    Database: Connect ERROR (1045) Access denied for user 'Database: janos'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
    The databes version is:
    mysql Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.77,

    My question: is it need to make some preliminary preparations in the databese, or it will make by your program? What is this error, where I can find the solution?

    Ich steh da im Moment etwas auf den Schlauch was da denn nun für eine Database gemeint ist. Login für Blitzortung ist klar. Aber Username für Database usw.? Bestimmt zu einfach als das ich drauf kommen könnte.

    Hi Tobias,
    I was "successfull" to generate another error message.
    I downloaded the jpgraph tool, and installed, as you described on your installation page.
    First I tried its example php page, but I get this error:
    ---------
    JpGraph Error: 25001 This PHP installation is not configured with the GD library. Please recompile PHP with GD support to run JpGraph. (Neither function imagetypes() nor imagecreatefromstring() does exist)
    --------
    It seems me, I need to restart to install the PHP with the support of this image processing tool on my system.
    my PHP version is:
    PHP 5.1.6 (cli) (built: Nov 29 2010 16:47:37)

    best: t.janos

    By the way, I found a php code on the GD page, maybe usefull to check the existence or the versions of the GD, if any.
    Here is this code, maybe can save it in such name, gdcheck.php

    PHP
    <?php
    /**
    * Get which version of GD is installed, if any.
    *
    * Returns the version (1 or 2) of the GD extension.
    */
    function gdVersion($user_ver = 0)
    {
        if (! extension_loaded('gd')) { return; }
        static $gd_ver = 0;
        // Just accept the specified setting if it's 1.
        if ($user_ver == 1) { $gd_ver = 1; return 1; }
        // Use the static variable if function was called previously.
        if ($user_ver !=2 && $gd_ver > 0 ) { return $gd_ver; }
        // Use the gd_info() function if possible.
        if (function_exists('gd_info')) {
            $ver_info = gd_info();
            preg_match('/\d/', $ver_info['GD Version'], $match);
            $gd_ver = $match[0];
            return $match[0];
        }
        // If phpinfo() is disabled use a specified / fail-safe choice...
        if (preg_match('/phpinfo/', ini_get('disable_functions'))) {
            if ($user_ver == 2) {
                $gd_ver = 2;
                return 2;
            } else {
                $gd_ver = 1;
                return 1;
            }
        }
        // ...otherwise use phpinfo().
        ob_start();
        phpinfo(8);
        $info = ob_get_contents();
        ob_end_clean();
        $info = stristr($info, 'gd version');
        preg_match('/\d/', $info, $match);
        $gd_ver = $match[0];
        return $match[0];
    } // End gdVersion()

    // Usage:

    if ($gdv = gdVersion()) {
        if ($gdv >=2) {
            echo 'TrueColor functions may be used.';
        } else {
            echo 'GD version is 1.  Avoid the TrueColor functions.';
        }
    } else {
        echo "The GD extension isn't loaded.";
    }

    The install script will do the preparation for you (folder /install). But it seems, that your mysql user/password settings are incorrect. You could use phpMyAdmin to have a closer look on your mysql-settings. PhpMyAdmin should be provided by your webhoster, or if not, you can install it yourself.

    Ähem, damit ist natürlich die MySQL Datenbank gemeint. MyBlitzortung speichert die Daten ja nicht in selbst in irgendwelchen Dateien, sondern verwendet dazu die Datenbank - so wie z. B. auch jeder Beitrag in diesem Forum in einer Datenbanktabelle gespeichert wird.

    Eine MySQL-Datenbank ist nicht bei allen Webhosting-Paketen enthalten! Wenn nicht, muss Du das Paket bei Deinem Webhoster upgraden (kostet natürlich mehr). Du bekommst dann einen Datenbanknamen, einen Benutzernamen und das Passwort von Deinem Hoster zugewiesen. Das alles muss vorhanden sein, sonst funktioniert MyBlitzortung nicht mal ansatzweise.

    Yes, during the installation there is currently no checking of missing php-modules. But all of those modules MyBlitzortung uses are standard ones, included in almost every PHP installation. I've never seen a PHP installation without GD.

    Tip for checking your PHP-Installation:
    Create a file with a text editor and write the following code in it:

    PHP
    <?php
    phpinfo();
    ?>

    Save it as "info.php", upload to your HP and call it with your browser. You will now see a lot of information about your PHP installation. The following modules must be enabled: mysqli and gd. The option allow_url_fopen must have the value "On".

    komme leide rüber Step1 nicht raus.
    Es kommt immer " Please check your settings in config.php!"
    In Zeile 1 steht noch "Warning: uniqid() expects at least 1 parameter, 0 given in /xxx/www/xxx/html/blitzortung/install/index.php on line 63"

    Kann vorher in meinem config.php ein Fehler sein. Eventl. die Koordinaten, müssen doch so 53.12345 enigegeben werden oder?

    Grüße

    Sascha, du brauchst PHP 5 (am besten 5.2 oder 5.3), die Fehlermeldung deutet darauf hin, dass auf deinem Webhost noch PHP 4 läuft.

    Hallo Tobias,

    myblitzortung habe ich installiert, jedoch schaffe ich keinen Datenimport.

    Per Cronjob rufe ich alle 5 Minuten "http://www.meine-domain.de/myblitzortung/…tung.php?import" auf.
    In der settings.php habe ich folgende Werte stehen:
    //Update intervals (Minutes!)
    define("BO_UP_INTVL_STRIKES", 5);
    define("BO_UP_INTVL_STATIONS", 15);
    define("BO_UP_INTVL_RAW", 30);

    Mittlerweile ist die letzte Aktualisierung 119 Minuten her.

    Wo habe ich da noch was übersehen?

    Gruß Wilfried

    Hallo Tobias,
    myblitzortung habe ich installiert, jedoch schaffe ich keinen Datenimport.

    Was kommt denn für eine Ausgabe, wenn du den Import manuell auslöst, sprich die URL per Browser aufrufst? Welches Secret ist gesetzt? Das Updatescript mit dem zusätzlich Parameter "&force" aufrufen, dann unabhängig vom internen Timer in jedem Fall ein Import gemacht.

    Evtl. hilft es noch zusätzlich PHP Fehlermeldungen anzuzeigen. Dazu in settings.php ganz unten BO_DEBUG auf true setzen:

    PHP
    define("BO_DEBUG", true);

    Wenn gar nichts hilft: Schick mir mal Deine Update-URL per PN oder Mail.

    Hallo Tobi,

    die Umschaltung auf php 5 hat geklappt, die Fehlermeldung ist weg.
    Ich komme jedoch noch immer nicht weiter. "Please check your settings in config.php!"

    Ich habe eine leere Datenbank angelegt und die Zugangsdaten in die config.php eingetragen. Ebenso die anderen fehlenden Daten.
    Wie schon gefragt, die Koordinaten müssen doch als 53.123456 also mit Punkt eingegeben werden oder muss man da ein anderes format benutzen

    Grüße

    Sascha

    Please check your settings in config.php!

    Diese Meldung kommt eigentlich nur dann, wenn eine oder mehrere der Datenbankeinstellungen BO_DB_HOST, BO_DB_USER, BO_DB_PASS oder BO_DB_NAME nicht definiert sind.

    der Tipp war Gold wert.
    Ich Depp hatte die config.php im falschen text-mode gespeichert.
    Jetzt klappt´s erstmal
